Read the privacy information for the whole service, not just the measuring function.
Make the choice with a small acceptance test
Try a normal visible check first, then test only the additional requirements you actually have: screen lock, navigation alongside recording, offline reopening or a usable export. Does an app always keep recording in the background?
No. Check its documented feature, permissions and actual behaviour on your device instead of generalising from another app.
Does the browser tool store nothing?
No. Settings and recent summaries use local storage, and the site loads web resources. Review privacy and deletion separately from the absence of an app-store install.
Will installing the website add vehicle-screen support?
