A browser GPS speedometer needs location permission to calculate speed, but that does not mean every app handles location the same way. Here is how zigmaty keeps the experience privacy-focused.
Location permission is explicit
The browser asks before sharing location updates with the page. Denying permission prevents live GPS features; granting it does not give every website permanent access.
Trip calculations and local storage
zigmaty calculates live speed and trip statistics in the browser. Preferences and limited trip summaries may be stored on the device so they remain available on a later visit; users can clear them from the interface or browser storage.
Analytics is a separate data flow
The site uses Google Analytics for aggregate visit information such as pages, device or browser characteristics, referrers and approximate network-derived geography. zigmaty does not intentionally send precise live GPS coordinates or a precise route to Google Analytics.
Use claims that can be verified
Privacy language must match the deployed scripts, storage keys and policy. New analytics, advertising, account or server-side trip features require a policy and implementation review before release.

What analytics does
Google Analytics helps understand visits, devices, browsers, referrers, and approximate network location. zigmaty does not send your precise GPS route to Google Analytics as a trip map.
How to stay in control
Use browser settings to manage location permission, clear local history from the app, and use private browsing if you do not want local state kept after a session.
