Privacy Policy
zigmaty is designed to measure GPS speed in your browser while keeping trip calculations on your device. This page explains how location, local storage, analytics, and advertising-related services are handled.
Live coordinates are used for the requested tool
The browser shares location only after permission. zigmaty uses fixes in the page to calculate current speed, distance and trip statistics; it does not intentionally upload a precise route to a zigmaty trip server.
Some information stays on the device
Unit, theme, alert preferences, an active-trip draft and limited trip summaries may use local browser storage. Users can reset trips, clear history or remove site data through browser controls.

Analytics is a separate flow
Google Analytics may receive page, device, referrer, interaction and approximate network-derived information under its own policies. zigmaty must not attach precise GPS coordinates or a raw route to analytics events.
Permission and retention remain controllable
Location permission can be revoked in browser or operating-system settings. A future account, advertising, server-side trip or new analytics feature requires this policy and implementation to be reviewed before deployment.
| Condition or factor | What it means |
|---|---|
| Precise live fixes | Local speed and trip calculation |
| Preferences/history | Browser storage on the device |
| Aggregate analytics | Separate from precise GPS route |
| Location permission | Controlled by browser and OS |

Location permission
The browser asks for location permission only after you start tracking. zigmaty uses GPS readings to calculate live speed, distance, average speed, maximum speed, pace, GPS accuracy, speed alerts, charts, and trip summaries.
Precise GPS data
zigmaty does not upload your precise GPS route or live coordinates to a zigmaty server. Trip calculations happen locally in this browser.
Local storage
zigmaty may save preferences and recent trip summaries in local browser storage on your device. This can include selected speed unit, theme, trip mode, alert settings, and the latest local trip history.
Google Analytics
zigmaty uses Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, device type, browser, approximate network location, referrals, and performance signals. Google Analytics does not receive precise GPS coordinates from zigmaty.
Advertising
zigmaty may use advertising services such as Google AdSense. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and your browser or consent settings.
